Comparing savings rates in the Netherlands is surprisingly hard: most comparison sites miss half the market, show stale rates, and quote a headline percentage that you never actually earn once tiers, caps, promotions and fees kick in. Spaarradar is my attempt to do it properly.

It covers the direct banks plus every Raisin partner bank, and a background worker scrapes each source on its own schedule, so every rate carries its provenance and the date it was last seen. The calculation engine (decimal.js, no floating-point money) works out the effective yield for your amount and term, and a strict deposit-guarantee rule means only offers with a verified European DGS make it into the public comparison.

Beyond the comparison there is a rate history per product, a weekly overview of what moved, an ECB-rate tracker going back to 2008 and a deposit-ladder planner. Every filter is a URL parameter, so every view is shareable.
