CountryDuel puts two countries side by side and makes the numbers tangible. It shows that the Netherlands fits inside the United States 237 times by stacking real-scale silhouettes, not with a bar chart. Every metric gets a visual that fits its unit: people standing next to each other for height, crowds for population, a cube of gas next to a house for CO₂.

A data pipeline pulls from the World Bank, Our World in Data and the CIA Factbook, validates everything and writes immutable, versioned releases that the static SvelteKit site bakes in at build time. Every value carries its source and reference year, and the site never crowns a winner: there is no "X wins 7–3", just honest wording.

Around the duels there are rankings, an interactive world map, per-country profiles and a higher-or-lower game built from the same facts. The whole thing is fully static on GitHub Pages and installable as a PWA.
